New laitance removal service coming soon!
Due to popular demand, Express Liquid Screeds are pleased to announce that we will be commencing our new laitance removal service within the next few weeks.
All liquid screeds will require preparing prior to bonded coverings, to either remove surface laitance or to create a surface key in our skin free product.
- For standard screeds
Allow 7-10 days to cure prior to removing laitance using our specially selected surface preparation machines or hand tools fitted with mesh sanding discs. If required the surface can be re-sanded using silicon carbide discs to remove contaminants and to provide a fresh key.
- For low laitance / skin free solutions
The surface of the screed can be sanded prior to the application of coverings, using our surface preparation equipment or hand tools fitted with a minimum of 60 grit sanding pads or silicon carbide discs, to provide a surface key ready for the application of primer.
